This strip speaks for itself. Norton’s choice to ladle out spoonfuls of soup instead of handing out candy has yielded what should likely have been predictable results to anyone else. While I could have simply called it soup, I really felt strongly about being specific and referencing borscht instead. And I made it a nice deep pink-purple colour, referencing a beet-based borscht, my favorite style of the soup in question.

Hopefully Norton gets the message and switches back to candy next year.
