Bachelor Life

This comic strip was drawn and inked on February 06, 2010. It was one of the first Norton & Wilfrid strips I thought was half decent. For those unaware, Norton is the one on the left wearing glasses and Wilfrid is his follicly challenged older brother sporting the goatee on the right. At this stage both Norton and Wilfrid’s appearances were still in development. The uneven freehand borders around the panels were an early experiment to see if I liked that aesthetic. I have since moved away from that idea because the freehand border is extremely uneven. Although we’re in a digital age, I draw everything by hand including the panel borders. The only difference between then and now is that I have learned how to use a straight edge with some degree of proficiency.
