Norton’s musical endeavours never quite reached his lofty goals and he figures he can bestow his dream upon his brother. And Wilfrid is clearly not interested. This comic strip is based upon the idea of parents who to try to live out their dreams vicariously through their children. Since he doesn’t have any offspring, Norton figures that he can somehow persuade his older brother Wilfrid to take on the monumental task of living Norton’s lost dream. Being full grown adults Norton figures that this could only be achieved through some form of legal paperwork.
And before I get any e-mails pointing it out, that’s not a typo on the year at the bottom of the strip. Although the strip is posted in 2016, much like many of my recent strips it was drawn and inked in 2014. It comes from my private reserve of slightly older completed comic strips. My newer ones are in various stages of development and they will make it to the website when complete. Based upon the date of this strip versus the date of posting, the new ones will probably be posted in about two years.
