Sommelier

Norton is extremely well-versed in the obvious. However, his designation of being a sommelier is probably a bit in question. His knowledge of wine is evidently not as extensive as he thinks.

I like comic strips like this one with minimal dialogue. It is rewarding to tell a story without having to fill the panels with too many words. The challenge I had on this one was figuring a setting for it. Originally I was considering showing them at a winery with barrels and casks in the background. But I opted out of that idea when I figured it might make the strip to busy looking. Plus, it would have been a lot of extra drawing. And for full disclosure I was feeling a bit pressed for time when finishing this one up to get it posted. Instead I opted for my old standby of Norton and Wilfrid standing in front of a window with a tree outside. It is much simpler to draw and I think keeps the reader focused on the gag.
